Terms & Conditions

Last updated June 26, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Care Partner AI (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Care Partner helps families coordinate care and verify medication adherence — including by texting reminders to a care recipient and recording their confirmations, escalating to caregivers, and organizing medications, tasks, incidents, and documents.

2. Not medical advice; emergencies

Care Partner is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on it for medical decisions, and do not change medications without a clinician. The Service is not designed for emergencies — in an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Reminders and confirmations may be delayed or fail to deliver, and you should not depend on them as the sole means of ensuring a medication is taken.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Consent & how enrollment works

Care recipients are enrolled by a caregiver — there is no public text-message sign-up. When you add a care recipient's mobile number, you represent that you have their express consent (or appropriate legal authority) to enroll that number to receive text messages from Care Partner. We then send a one-time verification code to that number, and it begins receiving reminders only after it is verified. You are responsible for ensuring this consent.

5. Text messaging terms

Once a number is verified, you and the care recipient agree to receive recurring automated text messages — medication reminders, nudges, confirmations, and care alerts. Message frequency varies based on the schedules you set. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.

6. Acceptable use

  • Don't use the Service unlawfully or to harm, harass, or deceive anyone.
  • Don't enroll phone numbers without consent or send content you're not authorized to send.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Don't upload content that infringes others' rights or violates law.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including Twilio, OpenAI, Resend, Cloudflare, PlanetScale, and Vercel). Your use may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered on time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Care Partner and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a missed, delayed, or undelivered message or a medication not taken. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months or USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Care Partner harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms — including claims related to messaging a phone number without proper consent.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Care Partner is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
